quality

Our 100,000-square-foot contact lens manufacturing facility in Alajuela, Costa Rica, has been awarded the prestigious LEED Silver certification for the facility’s environmentally conscious design and operation. And it just so happens to be one of the facilities where clariti® 1 day lenses are made. We are dedicated to not only improving our manufacturing to provide less of an environmental impact, but ensuring that quality of our lenses are continuously meeting our standards.

At CooperVision®, we’re continuously working to improve and minimize environmental impact, and operate more sustainably, because it’s the right thing to do — for our employees, our customers, our business, and our planet. From production improvements designed to conserve water to efforts that recycle nearly 100% of the plastics used in production, we’re prioritizing environmentally responsible practices across four key areas: water, energy, recycling, and people.
